A Brazilian forestry company and leading eucalyptus pulp producer installed a new SMART Clean™ system and upgraded their sootblower nozzle to the High Efficiency Low Pressure CFE nozzle last year in two of their recovery boilers. Since the start of operations, not only have the boilers runtime improved but the sootblowing steam consumption has also been significantly reduced.
