Clyde Bergemann Power Group (CBPG) offers several economical solutions to mitigate flue gas acid (Hydrogen Chloride, Sulfur Dioxide, Sulfur Trioxide, etc.). As federal, state, and local regulations are currently being implemented for acid gas mitigation, CBPG is capable of providing an unbiased assessment for site to determine the best applicable mitigation technology. Dry Sorbent Injection uses either a calcium or sodium based reagent for moderate to high acid gas removal efficiencies. CBPG offers two dry scrubbing options: the Spray Dry Absorber (SDA) and the Circulating Dry Scrubber (CDS). The SDA used liquid phase chemistry to reduce the acid gas constituents in the flue gas with a high sorbent utilisation. The CDS implements a fluid bed for intimate contact for improved reaction for acid gas reduction. Both dry scrubbers are capable of 95% to 99% reductions of acid gases such as Sulfur Dioxide, Hydrogen Chloride, and Sulfur Trioxide.
