Clyde Bergemann has applied technology to simulate the complete combustion process in detail and to predict the effects of changing parameters on efficiency, emissions, corrosion and deposit formation before they become real.
These process insights also support the application of the entire product range of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group, comprising of systems for on-load boiler cleaning, ash handling as well as air pollution control. Design, positioning and operation of these systems are directly and indirectly influenced by the combustion process.

Therefore Clyde Bergemann uses different sensor and software solutions to identify and analyse the current deposit situation in the whole boiler. For example, online thermodynamic modelling can be used to analyse the heat transfer performance and to quantify the opportunity for improvement in each section of the boiler.
